Welcome

This blog is an experiment in discipline, curiosity and results from an uncontrollable urge to add my drivel to the already massive amounts of nonsense on the net. I hope to look mainly at economics in this blog. I've never managed to keep a diary for more than a week so this may just lay abandoned for large stretches of time. A major motivation for me to start this blog was the realization that this would be a great forum to exchange views and hone my economic intuition about events in the world. The only problem being that economic intuition is not that intuitive - at least to me. So this blog will serve as a platform to deconstruct intuition and probably make some sense of the seemingly contradictory positions taken by various individuals (economists, jouranlists, politicians, you, me...).
